Project Reflection

Questions to consider:

What is the most important thing you learned in this project? What do you wish you had spent more time on or done differently? What part of the project did you do your best work on? What was the most enjoyable part of this project? What was the least enjoyable part of this project? How could your teacher change this project to make it better next time?

  1. I think this was a really good way to start off the school year. Especially showing us that you are the fun teacher this year and the one that will help us pass ELA.

  2. The most important thing is that we learned how to know about the different text structures and the different graphs to use for them so we dont get messed up on it in the future. The thing that needed more time on was the writing and i wish I could’ve done better was my writing. The thing I did the best on was helping my group out on what to put and helping them on what the differences were. The least enjoyable was that we had a small amount of time on it and that we didn’t make it as neat as we could’ve. My teacher could change the due date or make it to where we could have more time in class for the project.

  4. The most important thing I learned in this project is identifying themes. I wish I spent more time on the critical words. I did my best work on finding the right definitions. The most enjoyable part was coloring. Something that could be changed is that we could have more words to do.

  5. The best thing i liked best about my project was that it was very organized and net even tho i started over i took my time and mad it look he best of my ability. I learned that chronological and sequence and order are not the exact same thing . Chronological is based more on a story mainly. Honestly the best part to me was that i got to work by myself i really enjoy that.

  6. I learned more signal words for the text structures I didn’t know before. I learned knew charts that can help with text structures. I wish I had spent more time on the example part because my handwriting was a little “Yikes” so I probably should have spent more time on that to fix my handwriting a little bit. I think I did my best work on the decorating part, I colored in the white spaces to make them pretty. I did not enjoy drawing the chart because I messed up the boxes and I forgot a row so that was kind of embarrassing. I think maybe my teacher could read over or look at our work before we color it just to give us feedback on it.

  7. Learn more about text structure in this project. I wish I had added more design and color to make the demonstration more neat and afffinention. I did my best on getting the right critical words for that specific word. I think the most enjoyable part of the project was working with group members. I think the least enjoyable thing part of the project was really nothing, because me and my group members worked well together to make an amazing thing ever. To make the project very interesting and fun, but this was fun also.

  9. The most important thing I learned in this project in my opinion would be the text structures. Before we did the project I didn’t really know a lot about the structures and the project helped me a lot to understand them. I wish I had spent a little more time on the signal words. To me those are a little confusing. I think I did my best work on the examples and color. The most enjoyable part about this project was the writing in it. I love writing and being able to do graphic organizers. There wasn’t really a least enjoyable part for me. I always enjoy projects. I think my teacher could put people into groups that are assigned so that we can all work with different people and get to know each other better.

  10. The most important thing I learned is more information about the informational text structures, what they do, visuals, and clue words. I wish I had done the lines differently and made them more lined up, but because of the 35 minute time constraint I had to disregard that. The part of the project I did the most work on was making the lines, coloring, and writing everything down. The most enjoyable part of this project was being able to cut it out and make it look better and more lined up. The least enjoyable was having to fill everything out on the project. My teacher could change it and make it better by giving us less partners.

I think that our best work was on the poster and the look of it,The most enjoyable part of the project was getting to be creative and work with my friends. I couldn't really think of anything that I didn't like and I really liked working in groups.

  12. The most important thing I learned from this project was the different type of text structures. The thing I would have done differently was make it more neat. The best work I did on the project was the whole thing, except the neatness. The most enjoyable thing about the project was to get to write everything. The least enjoyable thing was to sit and wait till you could draw on the project.
